Is Gaël Clichy that good?

Chelsea join the growing list of people who've taken the piss out of him all game.

He needs dropping, and we need another LB to keep pushing Kolorov.
 
Clichy bottled it in the second half, he let Toure and Kolarov take over his position and moved in front of them so he wouldn't have to defend. Unbelievable positioning. Garcia gets a lot of stick but at least he doesn't hide when he's having a poor game.
 
A big fat NO from me. Two words; Callum Mcmanaman. He's done nowt since then to make amends. Vastly overrated by many blues on here.
 
Mistake followed by another mistake today.

I'm actually struggling to remember anything he did right...

Oh, yes. He played a good through ball early on in the game...

Those two would make for great transfer business baines would give us good defense and a serious threat on the flank and great free kick threat ..defense and attack in the same left back spot is unheard of for us these days
 
Kolarov seems to be the better defensive player of the two at the moment, which really says a lot in it self.
Come January and we should buy a first 11 player.
 
Had him on my shirt last season! Won't be getting him on my shirt this season! Would rather Kolarov every single game
 
Clichy looked great in the title winning season, and looked OK last season.
Frankly, this season, he's stunk the house out, more than a man who's had 8 pints of Guinness, a Lamb Naganzi and 6 eggs.
 
The overreaction is insane.
He was shocking today.
He has been poor for a while.

But he's a good fucking player.
We can't go and replace every player who ever has a poor run of form.
 
Is it just me or does he seem to have lost his pace,people saying torres has lost a yard of pace from his game,well at the moment clichy seems to have lost 2-3 yards....
 
Seems to have lost some pace which can happen by that age.

Was shocked with his defending of Torres for the first.

Shouldn't have been so square and flat-footed. He underestimated Torres' pace and was not quick enough this time to bail himself out.

Disappointing with his start to the season but I think he'll find form.
