Isco

He had his chance to join us last summer, he chose Real. He can be happy with that as he got a Champs Lge winners medal which few have.

However, like any sane person could have seen, he wont get to play that often and will get squeezed out. In that situation it isn't our job to be his perennial safety net. The story goes that he gave his word to Pellegrini and Begeristein last summer and then reversed on it, so I cant see us going back there at all nor should we.

We have Nasri, we have Silva and we also no monies due to those daft sanctions we accepted, along with this daft quota we have. In short, it isn't happening and it shouldnt either. F**k him, he had his chance - move on.

From what I heard, City didn't value Isco at the fee Real Madrid were willing to pay for him, add in the fee's his agent wanted as well.

Last summer he would of been a player who would of added to our squad but not now.

Ahh yes the good old 'cut your nose off to spite your face'

That theory always works a treat

We've been very lucky with Silva. Despite having a surgically repaired ankle that causes him occasional time on the sideline, he's avoided major injury. We'd be hard pressed to break down stubborn defending if he had an injury like Negredo's.

Nasri is technically a playmaker but he's too inconsistent. I don't think he's on the level of Silva at all. Only Yaya is.

And if Isco had been brought in last summer, Nasri would more than likely have been off. Nasri went on to have a superb season and be a key player for us in a double winning season.

Where exactly would Isco fit into our formation and team now? Its a position and role we have filled so its a window dressing player we simply don't need.

When Mangala comes in the squad needs to lose a few members, not add others just because some people think we are playing football manager on here. Back in the real world, only 18 can actually wear a kit each week and we are already up near the 25 mark.

Isco's chance to join City, like many others who we chased like Eto'o, Buffon, Alexis Sanchez et al, has come and gone. Moving on is moving forwards, going back to someone who's already spurned you looks rather desperate and we are so far above that level now anyway. Accept the moment has passed and move on.

Id have said Nasri was one of our most consistent players last season by a long shot.

Spot on. Was superb and a key figure for us and should've been one of the player of the year nominees.

I agree with this. I also feel that when thing aren't going your way his output is diminished.
