I thought he joined in January.

Pre-contract agreed unofficially last October but contracts can only be signed in the window

but wasn't there a window in January?

Ronnie isn't your usual transfer window bullshitter, I'd take what he says at face value. I'm not saying he's correct, but I think he's genuine.

In January, neither Malaga or Isco was interested in making a deal at that stage. Isco's price tag was too low and they were still in the CL. Those two factors are out of the equation now.

Too much of a coincidence for Ronnie to mention Isco as far back as he did and for us to be legitimately in for him this summer.

I take an ITK info with a pinch of salt but I think Ronnie's a reputable poster simply relaying what he hears.
