In the end, Isco has to be willing to sign for City & Malaga have to accept an offer from us. We can talk to them without putting it in writing & then make it official when we are the highest bidder & Isco agrees to sign.
If Isco won't sign for us, we have nothing to gain by bidding.
Pretty sure it does matter.
If a club is offering a player this and that, and making promises to the player. That can lead to the player forcing the move, and possibly even reducing the fee, even of the club doesn't want to sell.
Not saying its happened here, but its not the done thing to be luring players without the clubs permission.
