Isco

It was always going to be hard to try and convince a Spanish player not to move to Madrid, with players like kaka leaving and modric probably not being first choice ancelloti will want a player that defines his era. Without pelle I don't think he would even consider us, it just looks like he wants to move there and you can't really blame him

Doesn't look like that to me at all but everyone is entitled to their opinion. If he had signed it would be Everywhere by now. A paper has guessed.

If you thought we had no chance before the report fair enough.

Lol, I just don't see him going Real. It makes me laugh though, the UK media report a story & everyone calls bullshit, yet the Spanish media report a story & it becomes the end of the world & a mass flap starts.
The clues are:
* "Pellegrini i see as a father type figure in my life" after he knew he was off
* "I would love to continue to develop under Pellegrini" knowing full well he's City bound
* He himself has hinted as much that he's coming
* reported his dad (his advisor) spent 2 days with the club & left very impressed
* it's only Spanish (biased) media, & a Real supporting paper at that, reporting he's Real bound
IMHO I believe he's going to be a City player & in all honesty I think it was agreed a while ago. I'm not claiming I know for fact but I'm adding the dots & taking in the time to think about it realistically.

I hope you're right. We seem to get led round this sort of thing every transfer window

I'm not saying I'm right or wrong, but I am confident he's already ours & as such wont panic about the Spanish media trying to drum up sales.
You also have to factor in its public knowledge we have an agreement in place with Real, are they gonna piss us off knowing we could potentially outbid them on every target they have just because we can if we wanted!
Maybe part of the deal was they back off Isco & we back off a target of theirs? Maybe Cavani? Although tbh I'm confident he'll be a City player too come the start of the league.

With everything that's being reported how can you e confident we are gonna get him

Well, this isn't good. AS' Malaga correspondent has Tweeted "Isco's transfer to Real Madrid is a reality. 30 million."

That's not good to hear.

Way to many FIFA fanboys on here ;)
Kaka leaving? If Kaka had already left, THEN I'd be worried.

From Isco's perspective, he's still a contracted Real Madrid player that he will have to vie for minutes. And that won't change by Sunday.

The old "it's ok join us, you'll have minutes we plan to sell some players after you sign" trick doesn't work anymore.

They must have shown Isco the great furniture he will see a lot on the sideline, if you catch my drift.

99% of Spanish media reporting Isco to Real now. IMO English media jumped the gun yesterday following one Spanish report. Amazes me how last night everyone believes the English press and get giddy yet when the Spanish press strongly report he's going Real everyone dismisses the story.
