Ok just heard we've agreed a fee including add-ons with Malaga. Isco and Pellegrini chat went extremely well. Medical could be spread over 2 days early this week.

Wonder Why we won't pay what Madrid has offered? Is it that city know Isco wants to come to us so we sticking it out seems a dangerous game..

Wondering the same myself. I can't believe we won't match 24m when we threw down 30m on Fernandinho.

We didn't pay £30m for Fernandinho. It was no more than £25m plus add-ons. But you can't compare as he's a versatile, experienced, international with CL experience whereas Isco, despite looking an excellent prospect, is younger and less experienced.

This very much reminds me of the Sanchez transfer where player wanted to go Barca but we and others had put in higher bids for the player with the club, our two cheeky on that occasion got the player for less money, seems as though they are up to their old tricks again with ourselves in the box seat.
