If we are limited to thirteen, then Nasty doesn't count for CL squad he could go on B list. I would exclude Demichelis and Jovetic. Given who we are signing I will be optimistic and say we can have 16 foreigners and therefore the list is suitable for both especially if we sign Kieran Westwood who is ex City academy as back up to Joe and is on a free.

The more I see the prices rumoured for Benatia or Mangala compared to the one reported for Fabregas, the more I want us to imitate Marcelo Bielsa's 3313 system he used when in charge of Chile (<a class="postlink" href="http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/06/08/marcelo-bielsa-chile-world-cup-2010-tactics/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/06/08/ ... 0-tactics/</a>). Whilst not necessarily practical, how fun would it be to see a line up of:

It could look a little more defensive if we ended up selling Yaya. We could shift Fernando into the centre, move Fernandinho onto the right of that 3 and put Kolarov in where he was. If we were to do that, then we might have the funds to upgrade Nasty/Demi to a Benatia or Mangala too.

Obviously, then the 3313 becomes a much weirder option than how we currently play!

In all honesty I wouldn't want to see this at all. There would be no width on the pitch. If ever we'd go 3 at the back we'd have to go a 3-5-2 with Kolorov and Zabs as wing backs. Pellers has never used 3 in the back anyway. I don't expect any changes.

Really really disappointed with this transfer window, we haven't had any wums, not one my friend of a friend knows... we haven't had any baggage handlers info, or taxi or estate agents information. Not a sniff form those who work at the Loury. All in all its been too quiet.
