Would be over the moon with Hazard and Martinez. RVP would be an error of Shevchenko proportions.

Really? What makes you say that?

Of the three mentioned. I think that RVP would make the single biggest impact and advance our European cause. I know he'll be 29, so no resale. However if he was 24 and in contract £50M would not be unrealistic. I suspect we'll pay half of that, if we get him. Aguero and Van Persie would be awesome by any yardstick!

I agree for instant impact on a team no better. Not sure how many years he will be as influential though.

Claims last week that the attacking midfielder or winger had agreed to join United in a £32million deal were wide of the mark. In fact, the general view in the game is that Hazard will sign for Chelsea or title-winners City. But that situation could change if United boss Sir Alex Ferguson persuades his club to match City’s wage offer of £155,000 a week. The sun

The SUN!

It's actually from The Star!

Albeit, Steve Bates in The People has also written this as an exclusive.

He is a rabid red and one of Slur Alex's mouthpieces.

I would suggest the above story is very encouraging indeed, as it smacks of watering down expectation levels at United, the inference City are throwing money at him.

Also contradicts the agent that there is an agreement with all three parties.

City would not allow this situation to continue. It's got Nasri written all over it at present.

I just feel he won't produce another season like the one he's just had, that was the exception rather than the rule when you look back on his injury record and consistency across his career on a season by season basis. Then there's the heat he'll take for leaving Arsenal for us (Nasri x10). We'll also have no forwards that are good in the air if Dzeko goes to accomodate RVP. I just feel like all the ingredients are there for this to be THE major City flop if it happens. Obviously I hope I'm very wrong.

Perfect for our system. Intelligent front man who scores goals and holds up the ball.

As for his injury record - I'd take him fit for half a season.
I don't think Mancini will like the idea of "fit for half a season" okay, he doesn't likes players with injury records.

NO MORE ARSENAL PLAYER PLEASE

We should sit tight and just enter the market if an outstanding player becomes available like Alaba or Bale

Transfer markets don't work like that mate. If everyone adhered to that philosophy then hardly anyone would move. The calibre of player we want will not just become available. We have to make them available by offering transfer fee's to their respective clubs

Hazard, RVP and Martinez? You lot should be doing cartwheels. You ungrateful twats.

On the contrary maybe you are a little disrespectful of the players who we already have

I am still doing cartwheels about where we are now. We seem to be fighting last years transfer wars. We have moved on surely?

If you don't think the 3 players mentioned will strengthen us, then there's no hope for you.
