Napoli hotshot Edinson Cavani has dismissed transfer links with Serie A champions Juventus.

The Old Lady are looking for a new centre-forward ahead of their return to the Champions League and the Uruguayan is on their shortlist.

However, talking to the Corriere dello Sport on Monday, the South American has pledged his future to the Stadio San Paolo outfit.

“I know nothing about Juventus,” the former Danubio and Palermo striker noted. “I want to stay at Napoli.”

Cavani joined Napoli in 2010 and he’s responded with 66 goals in 95 games for the Azzurri.

So he snubbed Juve & said he wants to stay at Napoli then.

Every time he's been asked, he's said he wants to stay at Napoli & that he won't be moving. Unless Napoli kick him out, he's staying at Napoli.

i think the general excitement of what we thought initially was going to happen in reality is rapidly fizzling out! we have a fantastic team but i dont believe we have a fantastic squad just yet! obviously we are actually taking ffpr very seriously and are only going to certain levels on players which in a way is quite right. the downside is that we may continue to miss out on certain targets as we wont be taken to the cleaners. we have makeweights as in tevez,ade even maybe de jong but its all down to their personal terms also with the possible club they are joining. i know the euros are on but there are players like cavani, bale, sahin and now rvp who arent at the euros and hopefully we are talking to agents and clubs trying to do deals. did we maybe get alittle big headed that huge names would instantly come here due to the premier league win?? possibly but why shouldnt we go for them?? any player with an ounce of common sense can see the city jugganaut is gathering further pace and would hopefully want to create history at our wonderful club. tolm mentioned yesterday about thiago and of course he would have been a mega signing but was there ever a chance of him leaving barca?? of course we have to and do trust the owner and the board to do whats right and they have done nothing short of sensational since they bought gods own club but if they want champions league glory then this squad is not good enough yet!! 3 top players would give us a chance but 4 would make us scare the shit out of europe! imo if we could get de rossi,bale,cavani and t.silva or equilvalent then we`ve got a huge huge chance of scooping 2 or 3 trophies next season! chelsea will strenghen further, the arse are buying, now doubt the red dippers will improve and even the rags will spen dmaybe £30-50m this summer so we have to keep pushing on and improving!
