I have no idea whatsoever, all I saw was lots of speculation based on a tweet by a Sky journalist saying his agent was in town, as far as I know that was the only thing that ever came out, which spawned 1000's of pages of speculation, with nothing confirmed by the anyone

There were not loads and loads, most of what was posted on here was based on a single tweet saying his agent was in Manchester. If you read the bullshite in newspapers then you'll believe anything, most of it is just made up, like the Luiz story yesterday, and Cavani, utter fabrications.

A Roma fan posted on here that all of their players do press conferences over the summer. Maybe De Rossi was just fulfilling a contractual obligation.

It was turned into a will he/won't he join City event by the speculation that was carried in the press and on fan's forums.
