If we let Bernardo go to Barca and Pep is already concerned. What does that mean for his future?

Sigh, it's from a published article by Ballus and Lee in the Athletic. The no-mark, no-blue tick Twitter guy just took a line out of the article and posted it. Which is where context comes in, the context of the whole article. Have you read it?

No, which is my point, a quote on twitter taken out of an article is best ignored.Or go and read the article then comment on that.

Agreed. I've been saying the same for ages. The numbers are barely there. People say, it's ok. Because... CB covers LB. And RB covers CB! But RB covers LB as well? OK, well we'll use a young player. And anyway, DM covers CB.

Hmm. That DM was to cover the CM/DM who retired. And CM/AM we're still one short, always have been. Ahh, it's ok, because LW covers AM. Well, CM??! Samething, apparently. Nevermind that the other LW was already covering RW.

We. Are. Short. Again.

Last season we were supposed to sign two CF. Got none. Oops.

Now we've got two CF... the team might need to change to accomodate Haaland. And there's zero premier league experience there. And we've lost many more players since. Versatile, reliable players.

Stop relying on Pep's genius to work miracles and forcing people like Bernie to fill in.

Midfield is the only area we're good in. The rest is very concerning. If we let Bernardo leave without a replacement that would also put a major dent in our season hopes. But I suspect we won't be that dumb.

No left back and lack of experience up front bar Mahrez could be a problem but we'll see.

Yeah I think you have missed Alvarez out. He’s only mentioned three times. If you mention him more our squad will look bigger.
