The club probably decided last Friday that he had to go so they would have started the groundwork then. We don’t know but I don’t expect us to sign anyone. Usually in January we do our groundwork for summer moves.

I'm by no means a financial expert but I'd have thought we have money burning a hole in our pockets at this moment in time.
I realise the Haaland deal came at a huge price, but with the negative net spend for the second season running and huge revenues announced recently I'd say the money has to be there this summer for a big rebuild
