Terrible decision if true and it's partly the clubs fault for not increasing his contract last year or in previous years.

Jordan Pickford and Aaron Ramsdale earn more than him.

Nunes and Kalvin Phillips earn more than him as well.

Ortega is a good goalkeeper, but we will struggle next season if he is number one.

Good shot-stopper, but nowhere near as composed as Eddie.

The one area Eddie excels over Ortega is his kicking which has pretty much become null and void as hardly anybody presses us anymore

Partly agree mate, but I think opposition forwards will be told to press Ortega next season. He has more of a mistake in him than Ederson.

I just think we will end up having a few Bravo esq moments next season with him in net and eventually we will have to change how we play out of the back.

I just think overall, Ortega would destabilize the defence a little.

We should be offering Ederson what he wants, he is vital to how we play.

His passing is still essential we build from the back and he sees and executes passes quicker and better. Plus I don’t think Ortega is a better keeper, great back up not a number one for us though.
