I personally have never believed we'd actually get Sanchez. Doesn't feel like the kind of signing we'd make. Would love to be proven wrong though.

He seems like the perfect Guardiola player

If you believe The Independent we were looking at him in the lead up to the Euros in 16. That being said, I don't know if we really were or what ever became of our interest.

I just can't see how we could possibly justify it unless Aguero Leaves. There's no way Pep should consider benching Sane for large chunks of the season - he's got the potential to be the very best.

Are we thinking of the same Sané? The one who missed half the season through injury, and then after coming into the team mid-December was absolutely knackered from playing every week by April? You want him playing 60 games a season?
