@FCBarca would be the best person to ask on this but I expect if Laporta takes over temporarily we are a go. Txiki and Ferran both worked closely with him and Txiki stepped down due to him leaving Barca.
I would think the opposite. If Laporta takes over, he’s going to want Pep, Txiki and possibly Ferran back at Barcelona

football fan tribalism mate. Personally I’m this instance I agree as Garcia cost is nothing and he’s obviously been told to sit tight for a year so they get him on a free? With that in mind I wouldn’t pick him for ANY match until his contract ends
I think we should get Stones to coach him :-)

We revisit this quite a lot, your opinion is always recognised, however, your delivery is up there with some of the worse on the forum, it’s continuously matter of fact and leaves no room for people to engage with you.... you’re obviously a nice bloke, Dom, but less of the self righteousness ffs!!
I disagree. His delivery is good. straightforward and not mealy-mouthed. not saying I agree with him mind...

While City's hierarchy may have liked the idea of Messi especially from a global branding point I think it's time to let this go.

If Messi had come it would have been a circus. Messi's first derby would be the headline, will he play better at Anfield than his last game there? And if he was out of form, would Pep drop him?

It's time to get/create our own Messi.

What, a Stockport one.....

Have any of the it's heard anything about Bayern possibly trying to sign Ilkay Gundogan?

The amount of people, not just on here, who have misread Messi's reference with regards his own family is quite shocking.

I had a colleague today saying he was staying for his family because he had upset them.

No he didn't, you dick. His family were upset because they had supported his decision to leave.

Go on.....u can't just leave us like that lol

I reckon it would be the biggest u-turn in sporting history, if he left, do you really think it's still possible tolmie?

Bartomeu is the major stumbling block and there is only a month left with the transfer window.
