Which age is colonoscopy recommended btw? I am 32 and was thinking if I should get one done although i am afraid of the results and the procedure.

No set age if you have certain symptoms which still need to be investigated.

You have to jump through a lot of NHS hoops to get someone to sign off on one.

I was the same, sounds daft but i was relieved when they told me it was Ulcerative Colitis, been on treatment for a few years now, have a infusion every 8 weeks and living life quite normally, hope everything goes ok for you

Ps, when it's finished you will have the biggest Fart you ever had in your life, due to the air they pump in during the procedure, it's armless but when i came out the toilet there were 2 people waiting to use it, talk about embarrassing
