Don’t keep telling me what I am supposed to think. The issue is the club knows these three will have to be addressed soon, and didn’t take care of them this window. And probably won’t do it again next summer

Let's hope he does but we're not having 3 DMs when we usually use no more than one per game. We can't have 3 players for each position. If Rodri gets injured, we'll cope with Fernandinho/Gundogan etc just as we coped last season with KDB out.

With DM when we signed Fernandinho for another year we made a commitment to treat him the same as any other player, not like some senior citizen. We won't know until the end of the season whether that was justified or not but as it stands we can't bring in another DM just because he's older. Otherwise there was no point keeping him.
