£42m would be low. We know that, City know that, Pep knows that, Barca know it. But that’s all they can muster. Best way to ‘boost’ the price? Include a player.

we are totally opposite to united fans, if one of their players has been out with an injury they become the best player in the world(see pogba), whereas we think because we've done pretty well without torres hes now become as some put worthless,

this lad is the future of the spanish national team, he will become world class in my opinion , and any transfer fee needs to show that, id be quite happy to keep torres as our cf because he has that certain something to score plenty of goals in our set up

We have huge talents in Foden, McAtee and Palmer Gundo has a good few years yet and if Berie wants to stay we don't need De Jong

De Jong can play as a DM and a CM, and even at CB, would be a perfect replacement for Ferna, comparing him to McAtee or Palmer is foolish.

Comparing Pedri too Phil, McAtee and Palmer, as I stated with Gundo and Bernie we don't need De Jong we also have good DM"s coming through the academy, also De Jong is a box to box not DM he would need Rodri behind him and couldn't handle it alone.

Pedri is the same age as McAtee and Palmer and ran the show for Spain in the Euros. We won't get him only because Barca won't let him move, not because Pep would say No.

De Jong is versatile, can play several positions from CB to CM, he's a Pep player, I'd be glad if we signed him.

In any case, I trust Txiki and Pep to take the right decision. Not worried at all.

People need to realise the reality of the market place post COVID. Unless we sell into the Premier League prices are fucked. There is little or no money elsewhere. Choices are limited. Sell to a domestic competer at market value or abroad for a knock down value. If a player wants to leave that adds to the mix. Add in wage considerations (which can be more important than transfer value) and putting 'a price' on a player is almost impossible from a supporters point of view. It's all about how it looks on the books at the end of the day.

Largely true.

Hence no sense in selling a player that doesn't need sold.

If Ferran ends up at Barcelona within 18 months he be talked about as one of the best strikers in the world and a bargain if he went for 50m this lad will score shit loads in the Spanish league!
Have you seen the state of the Barcelona team?

They can barely beat the mid table clubs these days.
