Torres and Sterling are worth 100m+ combined. FDJ has done nothing at Barca to suggest that he should be worth anything close to 100m. And he is on massive wages.
Selling Torres wouldn't be the end of the world. But let's not sell him cheaply. He is a 21-year old spain international who could offer Barca 10+ years of service.
