Jack Rodwell is the word from former manager

Everton fans don't give a shit that hes leaving, very strange transfer this one.
I always say fans know their best players the best and thats a bit worrying when your own fans dont think you will be big miss.

Don't forget his wages will be very low probably around 40k unlike the likes of de Rossi or Martinez who would cost 30m plus 150 to 200k a week

Disagree we have done a Liverpool, if we had sold Nasri, Silva, Yaya and replaced them with Jack Rodwell and Scott Sinclair I would agree. Squad player with potential who once fit will get games as cover and maybe to enable players to have a rest. It has been often said you can't have a 25man squad all top quality players you need some who will be prepared to wait for their turn.

If the fee is £15m then it's a bargain for a talented young English player. Technically good and physically strong, replacement for de Jong/Barry and capable of covering at CB. Yes it's a bit underwhelming, but if he can shake off the injury problems then we have a very good player.

Certainly happier with this than the prospect of Scott Sinclair.

He's incredibly average. Let's be honest here, if he was signed for Utd we'd find it hilarious. We've done a Liverpool, fuck sake.

He's better than that donkey the scum bought for 5m Powell and he can play centre back and midfield but he's mainly a squad player at the moment needs to improve a lot to get in our first team

Donkey, right!
Sometimes

MJ is up on excess alcohol charges maybe the club if he is convicted terminate his contract and he is his replacement.
