This.

Jack will come good, give him a fair chance to show what he can do.

the summer window was a complete disaster, lets hope we don't waste 50m in this one.

Nastasic a complete disaster lol

out of 50m only his fee was worth the money, i'd say that was pretty disastrous.

Not complete then.

Garcia is looking much better and I wouldn't say Maicon was a bad signing

Of the 5 only 2 have been fit. Nastasic has been better than anyone expected. Sinclair has disappointed

The other 3 have been injured so you can't make a judgement until they have played

Yep. Even the worst Transfer Forum predictions on 7/1 were far better than that window turned out.

Maicon not a bad signing? What has he been then?

He has only played about 6 times.

He's not even injured either, club employee Chris Bailey confirmed he is "out of favour". What could he have done to become "out of favour" I wonder?

Nastasic is the only success so far, I hold out hope for Garcia and Rodwell (if he can ever stay fit) though. Sinclair is already a write-off IMO, Mancini has seen enough already or he would have gotten more appearances like Johnson did.

But Sinclair is an out-and - out winger, playing on the correct side for him and Mancini doesn't play wingers, so he will not get his place.
Johnson was happy to play as a wide mid-fielder which suited Mancini better, but even so he didn't get a regular place. At Sunderland he seems to have a free role and is very effective.
Sinclair might do well with another Club (or another manager).

I agree.

Complete fuck up and if anything costs us the league this year it can be traced back to this.

Javi Garcia will come good this season and Maicon is a good 'cover' player to have in the squad.

Rodwell has been unlucky with injuries - If he can get a decent injury-free spell, he'll be OK, but will never be worth the money we paid for him.

The worst signing of the summer was Sinclair - The guy is arse with a capital ARSE. I wouldn't be surprised if we sell him in this window. His missus is probably a better player than him.We will still win the league this year.

Believe

Seems a bit harsh to me. Some players need a regular run to bed in and Sinclair's not had one; he's not had much service, either, with us not being a winger-style team.
Bscause we are a team with high expectations, it seems that we can't afford the time to allow new players to build up.

Shame really.

Not a shame - a tragedy.

I recall the early days of Steve Daley at Maine Road... I knew he was shit when I first saw him, and he never got any better. Sinclair's performances to date remind me of Daley - Weighed down by expectation. The only difference is that we all suspected that Sinclair was a bad buy as soon as we heard about it.

I have said many times about Adam Johnson's time at City; he arrived like Mike Summerbee and gradually turned into Nicky. Sinclair arrived like Nicky Summerbee but plays like Tina.

Absolute waste of wages. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I doubt I will.

I know what you mean about Daley, (I remember him, too) but , like you, I hope that you're proved wrong about Sinclair.
