Aye?I agree. Feels like this lad is destined to be in the Prem eventually, whether that’s next year or in four years time.
No way he’s at Bayern for the rest of his career, I think they know that.
He’s let the contract run down for long enough, so he’s obviously considering his options.

Would it be a goal for you to shape an era at FC Bayern – like Robben and Ribéry, Neuer and Müller once did?

Just as expected, we were just used for another huge contract extension. There’s no way these types of players leave their elite clubs in their prime. Maybe he’ll start an adventure somewhere else at 28/29/30, but until then, I see no reason for him leaving Bayern.

Whilst he's never going to say "no, I'd like to leave" in answer to that question, I just can't see him turning down a contract at Bayern. I'd love for us to sign him, and we'll do our best to try and rock the boat, but I expect him to extend and remain at Bayern for the foreseeable.
