James McAtee

I see the papers are linking him to Sheffield for a loan move, Can this happen now? Does Doyles move to Wolves count as a loan move?

We can loan one player to each Prem club,Doyle's move is irrelevant.

I'm not convinced its the greatest move for him,but i thought that last season too and it turned our wonderful.

Burnley would be better as they are 60% possession+ against most teams. That would be a good Prem move for him.

Burnley have got an even more bloated squad than Chelsea, and are still looking to sign another striker. He’d be better off going abroad if he’s going to go on loan

He obviously learned a lot whilst at Sheff Utd but I would hope , if he goes out on loan, that he goes to a team which plays more of a style like City.

Leicester seems to out because of the number of loans permitted, but hopefully the club will be proactive in this.

Look at the players he is training with (i.e. playing with multiple times a week) - Foden, Kovacic, KDB (when back from injury), Grealish, Nunes, Doku, Alvarez, Haaland. Surely he can learn something from that lot to apply to his own game.

He should do what Palmer just did.

Stay and learn from Pep, try to get a regular position and if not by next year go to a club permenantly. Don't go now and take the risk of being with a lesser manager and lesser players. It'll probabl;y be fine ...but just fine. Instead of potentially great.

Without Jimmy we cant' do 11 a side practice games!

Personally I think going back there is a terrible decision. They play awful football and they’re going to really struggle this season.

He wants first team football, and he is in something of a comfort zone an hour down the road.
If they use him properly, their neanderthal tactics may even get something of an overhaul......one can only hope.

Didn't people say that last season and yet...

Yeah but last season they had Ndiaye, Berge and Doyle and were playing in a really weak Championship. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be delighted if he had a great season with them but I just don’t see it happening.

I would say the same if they hadnt of been promoted but the fact he will get 30+ PL games under his belt if he doesnt get injured will be better then maybe getting 1 start for us.
