Would add a lot to the areas we currently lack.

Can't figure out why Mancini has had him in the team ahead of Barry and performing well to not being able to get into the side at all.

But it's 'that' part of the season and for the third year in a row, Mancini is leaving me scratching my head.

Funny how overrated he is on BM just because he played in the rags game..

I'd rather have a 60% Silva playing.

I son't expect him to be Nasri or Silva technically. But he is not even in Barry's class.

They're different players. We're talking specifically about the Stoke match, and deploying Milner as a winger rather than as a central midfield player. Now as I say, he may not be in Nasri or Silva's class when it comes to technical skills, but he could have played wide right and provided width, and some power and aggression in that area.

Regarding his footballing intelligence - are we watching the same player ? His technique may not be up to the very high standards in our squad, but his movement and general footballing intelligence is excellent. You need only look at his performance against United in the 6 - 1 and his hand in some of the goals to see that he has it upstairs to play alongside players like Silva.

We'll have to agree to disagree I think mate because I truly believe you are vastly underrating Jimmy.

Was watching the 6-1 highlights last night and Milner was sensational in that match!! Can cross pass and lots of grit and determination!! Why he is not played more is beyond me!! England's best midfielder!

Milner should have started against Stoke. Again tactically naive, and another two points dropped. Why start with Silva who has looked off the pace for a while, especially in these games. If Mancini continues to select the wrong players, we will not win the PL. What worries me is that we need to treat every game a cup tie...
