James Milner

TBH I don't agree with booing Milner - makes us look mean spirited and petty.

He did a great job for us; was out of contract and wanted to play every week. Ok so he never ended up in CM but he plays all the time - whilst if he had stayed he wouldn't be here.

Don't think anyone would be bothered if he just got on with it and played for them without all the comments he's made since he's been there.

No one booed Milner until he opened his gob and started making jabs at City. The fucking irony that the one time we boo an ex player it gets it's own article when Sterling not only got booed by Liverpool fans none stop but got hounded playing for England as well. The lot of them can go fuck themselves.

We applauded him at Anfield last season and he thanked us by celebrating right in front of us when he scored. He scored for us against Villa and didn't celebrate so why the respect for them and not for us? If he wants to celebrate that's up to him but he clearly had no respect for us so why should we respect him in return?

Only a personal opinion but I felt embarrased with the booing of Milner today. We have slated the Tarquins for hammering Nasri when he played for us even though he left them years ago saying that it was classless.. well I thought that was classless today and we are better than that. Integral member of our recent cup winning history. Wish we had a couple of 7/10 solid members in our current team who played like as every successful team needs one.

It was because of comments in the paper prior to this game on top of him having digs at us before,a boo was long overdue

Booing Milner should be in another thread but, to add my bit; flipping marvellous we did, all this love on for someone who clearly slags off city deserves the same treatment Liverpool fans tone to sterling. I'm sure the papers didn't write a special article about sterling getting booed...

Don't get all the hate. I liked the 100% energy and determination he gave us. He is a professional sportsman ,he does not have to love us but that helps. His personal ambitions in a short career span meant he chose a different path. I was proud of how classy City fans were ,it set us apart from the herd-we are losing that. I am always cynical what the press reports about what someone allegedly said & even if he did so what.

You might feel that way about Milner but Milner has made it very clear he doesn't really give a toss about his time here so I couldn't give a toss if the fans boo him.

Bingo! he can get to fuck tbh, i had all the time in the world for him after he left but it seems like he has gone out of his way to give us the v's tbh.

For me he played for City when we won he PL, what he does and says as a Captain for another team is irrelevant. What would you have him say I'd still rather be at City than play left back...

So it's ok for everyone to boo sterling and not one cnut in the media came out and condemned it,but some sections of our support decide to boo Milner and it's suddenly disgusting the irony is lost on these cnuts,if Milner kept his gob shut then maybe he wouldn't have got booed the snidey little digs show him up for what he is..

Not when he said this stuff with no prompting, for such a 'decent lad' he seemed very ready to drop shitty comments at us all to often.

I don't dislike him but i also have no liking for him.

Name another ex City player that has said anything good about us?

Caveat - When playing for another team that we're playing that week

Do you know what I was saying before the game, I see no reason to boo him(still don't)... looking at the high and mighty reactions from so called neutral football fans, piping up most of the time with something like this: "Those City fans are ridiculous there's no reason to boo Milner just because he joined Liverpool"

Yet these same people didn't say a word when not only the Liverpool fans went way way over the top when Sterling joined City... fans from other clubs up and down the country joined in and still do to this day. The hypocrisy of PL football fans is infuriating at times, there's no reasoning with that level of stupidity is there? They wont get it even if you spell it out to them why they are being massive hypocrites. I'm happy for people to continue booing the fuck out of Milner now just piss the likes of them off.

This implies Milner has only spoken about us badly in isolation, he has not.

Sorry but the bloke is a two faced prick and i'd be happy to tell; the fucker so if he ever put his shadow over my Pol Roger, the fucking shithouse :-D

To ignore his general tone to us is not sincere on your part and you know it boss.
