I'd rather invest in someone young we can groom into the role than buy someone we know doesn't have the height, physique, or positional nous ever to master it. If we do buy another someone of that ilk, Guardiola has to find an other effective formation and that unsettles other players. As I said above, just thinking outside the box.True, he aint ready when he left, still isnt though and injury wont help his cause i think
Sounds more like a cough medicine than a footballer!Always with the eye to a bargain, I'd be keeping my peepers on the teams that fall out of the Champions League and especially the Porto v Shakhtar result tonight. If the Portuguese win, then Shakhtar are elimnated and that might make them more willing sellers. They have, for instance, a young midfielder (Sudakov) that might become available.
No chance West Ham sell in January. They’re going for the EL.
Paqueta. 3 goal assists for West Ham so far today. Game on going. He’s running the game
that'd be my guess, wouldnt be shocked at no one thoughJust the youngsters, André and Barco then, that'll do til the summer!
It doesn’t really surprise me and Phillips’ minutes will hardly be missed. If the club have targets planned for the summer that aren’t available now then it’s better to wait rather than target the wrong players now. That’s not good news if true and Phillips leaves! :-s
Shows confidence in the existing players to dig deep and turn things around, and it also shows confidence in the backroom staff keeping them fit enough to challenge. Could be a timely move on the part of the club to quash any rumours and to sharpen focus. That’s not good news if true and Phillips leaves! :-s
Phillips offers nothing, he barely plays now and will play even less once KDB is back. That’s not good news if true and Phillips leaves! :-s
Ornstein is very reliable and I suspect, like others have said, it'll be Barco and probably Andre.
Don't really know much about either, but it's 6 months to settle in to English conditions (presumably Barco is off to Leicester).
I'd have liked an established premier league player but Phillips is seemingly behind Kovacic, Lewis and Stones as a holding midfielder, so don't think we'll splash big cash on a replacement.
Suspect it'll be a loan as well for Phillips so he could be back in the summer.

Got a feeling we've got someone lined up for the summer to solve the issue.
What constitutes a "Senior Signing"?
Age? First team player?
