Javi Garcia

Was Garcia anywhere near the Spain side during competitive games, like in Euro 2012?

Seems like he wasn't.

Seems like he wasn't.

Maybe he wasn't a regular for Benfica. Maybe he wasn't playing as well as he is now.

Either way, del Bosque seems to rate him, just as Mancini does.

Seemingly most City fans couldn't spot a good player if one was doing a good job week in and week out in their own team. It really is laughable.

So del Bosque has brought him into the Spain squad purely to make the other members of it feel superior, has he?

Spain need a defensive midfielder to backup Busquets, have Spain got anybody else defensive minded other than Garcia to fall to?

Javi Martinez who was dropped and replaced by Garcia. A strange decision I have to say, I quite like Garcia but Martinez just seems a completely superior footballer to me. Alonso is also really good defensively and that side of his game is pretty underrated because he's such a good passer.

Why do people constantly query managers decisions. Del Bosque must be clueless to

I've got a feeling you could spot a good player though, am I right?

He hasn't been playing week in week out.

There's been some comments about his involved with the Spain squad but, once again, I confirm he's played 22 minutes in a friendly against Serbia. It's in black and white: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Javi_García

Joey Barton has an international cap too.

He is a City regular now, and was on the bench this week for their World Cup qualifier.

And that should tell you that his performances for City have impressed his national coach

It is irrelevant how much he has played or for how long, the fact of the matter is that despite their being so many talented Spanish midfielders around, Garcia is in the squad. This is despite him being shit, slow, wank, useless, cant pass, cant shoot, cant run and so on.

It is clear to me he is a good player and like anyone he needs time to settle, the premier league is very different to what he is used to.

He may never be able to adapt to it but calling for a players head because he hasn't done so in less than a year is just crazy but I guess sums up a lot of people on here.
