I agree. He was obviously disappointed in himself. Therefore he thinks he can do a lot lot better so its a good sign coming from a bad performance. He knows he was poor.

I don't expect every player can play his best all the time.....
But I do expect a City defensive midfielder NOT to shit out of 50:50 challenges....
And then have audacity to flounce down the tunnel like a prima donna when subbed.
He has a lot to do to convince me he has a long term future here.

not one for writing city players off.
when the idiots were slagging yaya, silva, de jong etc i wasnt one of those.
but this guy is shite . fucking shite . to play in the position he does, he needs to read the game better. he cant read the game.
he also cant run, tackle, pass, and is a nervous wreck in possession.

Chill you lot. He wasn't at the races tonight, but I've seen him play MUCH better in Portugal. He's a class act and just needs time to settle.

Ok fair comment, but I would have personally preferred him to stay and support his team mates. Maybe he did come back 2 mins later.....if he did I apologise. But still a fanny of a display.
