Look at the stats someone posted earlier in the thread. 20yd average pass. Not that there is anything wrong with keeping the ball at any distance.

Like I always said, he'll do well when in the right system, but only when he's in the right system. He's very limited, but if he actually allowed to play his position then he'll do it well and help the team. Unfortunately for him, we don't play that way very often and he's not up to much in other systems

Give the guy some real credit for tonight's performance!
He did a proper job in the middle - tidied up got the ball away , tackled when needed - real class performance .
I accept he does not do this regularly but I hope he does it a bit more for us!

First half he was his usual self. Second half he got his positioning perfectly and dominated with his heading.
