If he was "utter wank" he wouldn't be where he is right now, playing in one of Europes top leagues, for one of the teams competing for the title. Playing in CL games and getting picked for his national teams squad.
The stick he gets from some of our fans is the only thing that's "utter wank" about him.
I still hope he's nowhere near the back 4 on Sunday though.

I'm thinking about Garcia marking Samuel Eto'o, and I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

TBH mate, now that Jose knows Vince is out, I reckon Torres will start. That worries me more than Eto'o who is spent, imo.

Not wanting him part of a makeshift back four against one of our title challengers doesn't mean he's a shit player. He wouldn't get in my first 11 if we had everyone fit, in fact it's fair to say if everyone was available I'd probably not have him in my match day squad. That still doesn't mean he's utter wank, just that we have a wealth of better options who I'd prefer.

More reverse gears than an Italian tank.

How the fuck am I reversing gears? I rate him as a player, I don't think he's utter wank yet I don't think he would get in our team if we were at full strength. That in itself is no disgrace as our squad has some great players. It might be hard to grasp but if you read slowly you might get there.

this thread reminds me of kolarov last year now everyone's saying he's better than Clichy if pelly plays him that's his job to pick him our job is to support him not slag him off he's doing a decent job out of position enough said

Does it not? You should read my other posts on this thread, they will hopefully go some way to explain why, although I think he's a decent player I don't think he's a centre half, or certainly not against any of the title challengers. That's not so outlandish a statement to grasp is it?

Hey ho, never mind fella. Let's just beg to differ.

I will always support him when he plays however if he never pulled on blue again I'd be a happy man. I just don't see one single top quality within him as a player.
