He was pathetic today and if u missed his attempt at blocking willians cross today you would know but you probably were to busy not watching the gamecitymad said:Proelia said:Way better then yaya today, who is becoming a disgrace with his lack of effort
No need for this bullshit wind up stuff. You gain nothing positive from it.
grahamgor said:He worked hard and made one really good interception when he snuffed out a Chelsea attack and started a break. But he was caught napping twice at freekicks ,once allowing Terry to sneak into space and the other time Cahill-fortunately they could do nothing with these chances. Upfront, his header from Silva's chip was weak and Cech was easily able to save-a chance wasted. He didn't punch his weight in the tackle when one on one with Oscar and the Brazilian dispossessed him but fortunately couldn't start a decisive counter. His lack of pace was exposed more than once by Torres and he might well have been sent off when he caught torres in the face with his arm. It wasn't '' a cynical challenge'' -as Tyler claimed- but it was a desperate one. Garcia seems a well-meaning guy, anxious to please and he did his duty as best he could when he was deployed in central defence earlier in the season. But he's a squad player at best, diligent but too slow in thought and movement for clashes against top premiership opposition.

I think yesterday was the perfect illustration of what Garcia is, and what he offers the team. A steady passer of the ball who links up with Fernandinho and YaYa extremely well. He allows others to play whilst he prefers to sit, which is a plus when you've got the attacking flair we have He's a threat from set pieces, though he should have done better with his clear header that went straight at Cech.grim up north said:onceabluealways said:grahamgor said:He worked hard and made one really good interception when he snuffed out a Chelsea attack and started a break. But he was caught napping twice at freekicks ,once allowing Terry to sneak into space and the other time Cahill-fortunately they could do nothing with these chances.
