Barry is a regular England international, Santa Cruz, when fit the season before last, was one of the top strikers in the Premiership. You've also made a common mistake, tried to use last season (which was a disappointment) to prove the upcoming season will be a failure. We had 12 hours with the ADUG money in the Summer, 12 hours!! In that time we bought Robinho. January is a different matter entirely, it's NEVER easy to bring in top players mid-season, yet we still managed one of the Premiership's top goalkeepers, a Dutch International Midfielder and a striker who was good enough to play for your better neighbours a couple of years back. Having money doesn't guarantee anything, NOT having money like Everton DOES guarantee something, that you'll never be a legitimate top 4 side until you get your own investment.

Oh yeah, Chelsea were an above average Premiership side before Abramovich's money. They were aided by being based in London, so they were more attractive to players, but they were nothing special.

We may well be a "shite club that's won fuck all" but I'd be more careful with the insults, when you've won 1 trophy in the last 22 years it's not really a strong position is it?

Lastly with Lescott, you won't get him for less than £20m. You current centre backs are all utter, utter shite. Chelsea won't sell Terryy, Barca won't sell Puyol....the only one you have a chance of egtting is Lescott.

However, because of Jags' injury we're in no rush to sell and I've only just stoppped laughing at the previously mentioned £15m.

As time ticks on the price could be pushed up to £30m.

You're massively top heavy even before you (maybe) sign Tevez and Eto'o. I wouldn't take any of your back 4...well maybe Zabaletta and even Given isn't as good as he once was.

This area needs to be bolstered if you want to break into the top 10 this season.
