It's easier to count his clean sheets against us

Not for Tim it's not.
I think he's hit Joe with every accusation possible. I particularly like his insightful analysis that concluded Joe was shit because he did too many adverts.

Thanks Stonerblue

Joe is a good keeper and we are lucky to have him but he hasn't improved in 3 years. One addition angle to consider is was Joenscreaming at Cahill to track Squarez's run with 5 minutes to go. I have helped out with FA coaching courses in goals and this communication is seen as a key part of te keeper's role. Hopefully, Joe was helping the defence out through shouting advice to them.

I would like to see Txiki offer £30m plus Joe for Neuer to turn us into genuine Champs League contenders. With Safna on board and Fernando coming (and possibly Zuccilini) that would complete our Summer spending. I know it is a big if but I would love to see Neuer at City.
And just which 2 or possibly 3 of our foreign contingent would you not put in our CL squad? Perhaps even our PL squad since you're going over the limit?

Costel has gone donee just make sure the two back ups to Neuer are English. Yes I agree that one of our overseas midfielders might have to sit out of the CL squad - but that is for Txiki and Pellers to sort and no doubt they have a plan.

At what point is Neuer going to leave Bayern

For the idiots who keep blaming him for flapping at the corners I suggest you look again as to who was at fault !! Twice Baines moved from the near post to the far post from the two corners, where Joe was left exposed and did very well to push away.
Absolute barmpops some of you daft fuckers who have never played nor participated in the game.Armchair critics ... I`ve shit `em.

Joe's an ok goalie, but we need a world class goalie at City if we want to reach the heights of other European giants. For example if we had a team of just good, ok players...we'd be the rags. I'd say we had 5 genuine world class players at City, Joe isn't on that list.

Have you actually seen many better goalkeeping perfomances in European games than the ones that Hart gave against Real Madrid and Dormund?

Spot On !!!!! Baines moves to early , If you have a player taking an inswinging corner player covers front post ,& moves to back post if ball is hit long to back post, Baines moved to early, & continues to do so after Suarez had twice gone for nearpost !!! Suicidal defending & poor decision making, by Baines, but has coaching killed the natural decision making of players, who just follow instructions instead of using initative .

I hate to sat it but David de Gea is a better keeper than Joe.

Hahahaha the same de gea that had a nightmare the season before last who everyone slated but now he's amazing.

Some people just don't like hart, he's been performing well for months now stop moaning and trying to find faults with all player. Negredo stop scoring, lets sell him

Finding faults lol. Our outfield players were outstanding and Joe did do much better on his comeback into the team . However, his lack of form earlier in the season almost cost is the league.
That's true. But he recovered. Iker Casillas has made many mistakes this season. It's a high pressure position where decision-making in a fraction of a second decides everything

Hart has won the title twice with likkle City, how good does that make him and the rest of our Champions. This was not supposed to be possible, yet they have done it

The big problem when assessing Hart is actually that he has less shots to deal with in the league than anyone else. However, he does stop most of the ones that he should (no keeper stops them all).

He certainly can't be faulted for England's exit. I would say that on another day, he might (and it is mostly a big might) have saved one or two by pulling out a truly exceptioanl save. The one England goal that I would most ask a question over was the last one where maybe Joe went down a fraction early but the fact is that Suarez hit it with real pace from fairly close range so it was very difficult for Hart.

I think this next season will be interesting. The last couple of seasons have been tough for Hart but he did bounce back and help us to another title win. He has steadied his ship and now he has to forge ahead and continue his development as a keeper. He is obviously disappointed about the World Cup exit but he does not have the national stigma of it being his fault (always a worry for the England keeper) and he should carry the confidence of being a title winner into the next season; along with having the support of his manager.

Good post. I don't see the reason for the clamour to replace or 'challenge' Hart. We're lucky to have him and as much as this will seem an unpopular opinion, his position as England's number 1 should make him unsellable and relatively undroppable. To be clear what I mean by that is that we should have a number 2 like Pants who can come in when Joe needs a rest, but someone who accepts that they are playing second fiddle to him. I don't believe in 'competition' as far as goal keepers are concerned. We should have an undisputed number 1 and we do in Joe.

When he hears Coach Tim wants him at City.
