So the witch hunt continues ,paper's,talk shite radio, mu sky tv , ex scum and scouse pundits, fans of other clubs, even blues joining in, all trying to undermine and destroy one of ours. Joe has not become a shit keeper and I for one wouldn't swap him for any other premier keeper. Yes he has made mistakes what keeper hasn't, but he will come through it, form is temporary class isn't. Last night I don't think we would have avoided defeat with two in net. Joe must play at the weekend and we have got to let him know we are still behind him, let the haters hate, let us pull together ctid.

Pants is one of those players who seems to get better on here the more he doesn't play. Those calling for Pants to replace Hart will be in for a shock as he is a far worse keeper. The first Bayern goal that Hart got a hand to and should have done better with Pants wouldn't have even got down in time to get a hand on it. His strength is his height so he can claim the ball from corners but low down shots he gets down like a wardrobe.
The only way you could make a comment about Panti not getting down for it would be if it happened! Also you are clearly wrong about him getting down like a wardrobe as seen vs Arsenal in the Carling cup, Chelsea in the Semi Final, the long range shot from the Barnsley player and of course when Ribery turned Zaba inside out in the Audi cup and then shot low from close range and Panti got down to make a great save. Its Hart who takes forever to get down to low shots and who always gets beat with them.
Pants also saved that perfect bottom corner shot from Mandzukic. Mandzukic had a look of disbelief that he didn't score.

As I've said before, I haven't seen enough of Pants' all around keeping to say whether I rate him or not, but saving the corners definitely seems one of his strengths.
people seem to think Panti is slow because he is tall but he is a 6ft8 professional athlete! Its not like hes some random out of shape unfit fat guy with no agility. And i personally think long range shots and bottom corner/top corner shots are some of his main strengths.

all of that, and more of this from Hodgson

"I am not blind to the situation, I do realise it is not a good moment for Joe," he acknowledged.

"He is a proud man and a very good goalkeeper and I am sure when he is criticised he is unhappy.

"I still believe in Joe. I believe he is the right man for the job and I don't believe he will let England down."

Maybe we should have brought in Dave Watson instead of Pellegrini's goalkeeping coach. Joe improved hugely under Watson's guidance while on loan at Birmingham and in the England camp.

The media can do one. Joe's our keeper
I haven't seen/read/heard the media on Joe but what are they trying to say?

I can't imagine that it'd be much more than:
Hart had at least 2 shocking errors last night.
Should Hogson play him in the games coming up?

Never a fan of the media but if this is the case, then that's hardly much...

and corradi was "our striker"

the man isn't good enough.
Look at his record over the years - anything can be distorted over a few weeks

Were you saying that when we won the League? Same player.

I could take either decision when it comes to Hart. If Pellegrini decides to back Hart, I'll support it. If he decides to give Pantilimon a run, I support it. Both sides of the argument make sense.
My thoughts exactly, I've always backed joe but the mistakes are too often, however I'm far from convinced about Pants...one things for sure the best reaction to Hart being selected again on Saturday (which I think he will) is to sing his name and let him know we are right behind him.

You're far from convinced about 'Pants' yet Hart continues to make catastrophic errors and that is ok.

Just out of interest; what has Costel done to make you not convinced? And what has Hart done recently to convince you are convinced that he is still the convincing first choice?

Everyone's going to mess up easy shit from time to time, I couldn't really care less about the goals he gave up, I'm 100% sure that will get worked out. I'd like to see costel get a shot for how he helps us going forward, I know it was just Wigan but he underhand rolled it probably 60-65 yards right at someone's feet , he just seems to hesitate a lot less and be more confident with it than joe, absolutely could be he plays against lesser opposition and less pressure but it gets frustrating watching hart kick the ball far as fuck for navas and aguero to not be able to get.
