Are we actually saying Pants isn't even worth a game or two. ?
If that's the case, why wasn't a decent stopper a priority in summer.
Joe could have been injured against Newcastle, and been out for a month or two.
What's the point in having a back up keeper that no one seems to have faith in.

Couldn't agree more. After he was shit on by the club at the Cup Final, he should at least expect to get a game when Hart is failing.

He should have had the intelligence to keep his gob shut instead of announcing to the world he intended to leave. We weren't exactly crushed in the stampede to try and sign him were we ?

He's a decent number 2 for a PL side, no more, no less.

The 'stampede' probably didn't materialise because like with most of the squad, we pay him too much. If he's a decent no.2, he should be brought in on the basis that our no.1 who used to be 'decent', isn't 'decent ' anymore.

Pants is a good keeper and deserves some games. Their confidence starts to drop if they keep getting over-looked.

What's the point of training and staying fit every day when you know you will never get a look-in.

He's never let us down.

It's hard to comment on Hart. Should he have saved any of those 3 goals today ? We don't know because we don't have anyone to compare him with. Maybe Pants would have reached that cross at Wembly against Wigan. Maybe he would have stopped their first goal today. Can he deal with free-kicks better? We don't know. We haven't given him a run of games to prove himself. We just seem to have a blind allegience to Hart - probably because he's English and homegrown in many cases.

He is a top keeper and has proven that but nobody should be guaranteed a place in the starting line-up. Pants should be given a chance.

Give Pants a chance !
Give Pants a chance !

We'll have to disagree on this one. How much do you think the lads on ? If a decent side from one of the top 4 leagues had come in for him he'd have gone subject to a fee being agreed. As far as I'm aware we didn't receive one serious offer.....there's a reason for that...

Regardless of your opinion of Harts current form, Pants isn't in the same ballpark in terms of ability.....

Yeh but in what games?
Cup matches IMHO until he has clearly proved that he's better than JH

Complete poppycock!

Never hidden my thoughts in the short comings of the shampoo seller, last week in the derby he was flawless , today under no pressure kicks the ball straight out of play , the free kick goal, his fault for the positioning of the wall and no attempt to dive and why did he charge out of his area for the 3rd?
