He deserves a chance to prove himself ahead of players who have had numerous chances and taken around 50% of them.

Strikers are only as good as the goals they score. Dzeko takes his chances from the bench well enough but not from starting slot. Mario is just odd, hot or cold from him but nothing prolific really. Guidetti isn't a player that is full of flare or a dazzler but he scores and gets himself in good positions. He would also suit our role for 4th striker on a lower wage than Mario and would be an homegrown player. He has as much potential as Mario because whilst his talents aren't as good his dedication is. Going on a few things like him being the key player in a good dutch side is promising. Look how he played v Ajax too.
