I hope that if city do manage to pull of this miracle and sign the type of players we are being linked with that people lay off them for at least until xmas. I can just hear it now, Terry would have won that header for Chelsea the cockney t**t, was tevez really that ugly? Eto'o you lazy git you should have chased him all the way back to the right back slot and slide tackled him and then dribbled it past 11 players and scored.

I may sound like i am rambling but i have heard some shit over the last season, yes caceido wasn't great but to shout come on you lump is hardly inspiring.

I hope everyone gets over the Bridge issue as well, can't believe the amount of people who slag him off, yes he may not have hit his peak with us yet but he is playing in a way he hasn't been asked to before, ie behind someone who cannot defend no matter how much they try, i am sure that any left back in the world would not be able to cope with this immediately.

Dunne, your crap - He has been our best player for the 4 years previously, cut him some slack, we were all praying he would stay before the money arrived.

All i ask is that we just remember where we have come from in such a short space of time rather than having knee jerk reactions that make us sound like ungrateful kids that didn't get their scalectric for xmas.

If we do get JT it will be the day the footballing world will stand up and take notice. Not that JT is one of the best players in the world, but it will be the fact that we have taken Chelseas pinnacle player from under Abramovic's nose who previously was the most powerful man in football. The Sheiks were right, they are going to take us to the top and my money is firmly on us winning the league next year, providing we sign all said players.

I don't believe that for one second, if we are bringing in winners into the squad like JT, Tevez, Eto'o, Lescott and Barry we already have players with experience to pull us through. The team will have a full pre season to gell and imo the rest of the top 4 are pretty weak so far this year.
