That might have something to do with the fact that they haven't been up to the required standard to command a place in the first team.The Academy was a great idea. Pity we only pay lip service to the recruits that graduate! Has anyone been given an extended run in the first team?

Are you saying 20 million is cheap for Jonny Evans? This signing has Sinclair, Delph, Rodwell written all over. We are already struggling to offload Delph, we struggled with Sinclair and Rodwell. We play 3 at the back, Pep rotates more than any other manager you really think we couldn't attract a better defender than Evans to be 3rd/4th choice? Evans will sadly get lots of game time.
