Happy to be wrong!
JMO?It's obvious the guy was just fucking around. It's getting so one might have to post notes on here like "just joking", "Being sarcastic", "wishful thinking", "just messing with you", and so on because some reactions to these posts are obviously missing the mark in terms of the posters intent. JMO
He was briefed by the club along with Jack Gaughan, Simon Stone and Paul Hirst. They all tweeted out the same information at the same time, information which City gave them directly.Does it fuck, he is in no way close to the club, he is just regurgitating what has been stated in Bild. He is clueless and isn’t close to the club. Some of you kids are desperate to believe in “ITK’s”. I had best not disavow you about Christmas Easter and tooth fairies
You know it! Hilarious stuff. No add ons also, so 77 million total so Slabhead is still the most expensive defender at 80 million
What again? Finally. Now get a midfield and winger and we’ll win the lot
No add-ons according to Jack.
Maybe it’s a lower price than anticipated cos we’ve agreed to pay nearly all up front (?).So effectively just a few million more than Van Dijk, which is great business considering the Leipzig manager was talking 86m plus add-ons.
Why would they be they signed JFE!!!They are so jealous.
Will reduce some of the snide comments that will. A big fee but one which hopefully will be fully justified. Might keep the moaners and flappers quiet for a few days and a good boost going into the start of the season. You know it! Hilarious stuff.
Gvardiol evidently made it clear it was City & only City. Leipsig were hell bent on getting a world record fee, but with Gvardiol intent on coming here, & time running out for them to bring in replacements before the season starts, it seems they blinked first. You can feel the pain inside simple simon:
BBC Sport's Simon Stone said: "The deal does not include any add-ons, which means it is not a British record for a defender as had been anticipated.
"City are privately delighted with the deal - less than Manchester United paid for Harry Maguire - given as recently as last week Leipzig were insisting they wouldn’t sell for less than 100m euros.
