Hopefully it is not too bad and he will be back in due time. But this is an opportunity to stress the issue of central midfield players.

Obviously Fernandinho and Fernando are the main options at the moment but I really think it is time to consider and include Lampard and Milner as very viable options. Milner has iterated about how that is his preferred position and Lampard can still do a job.

Yaya Toure really does not need to play as a central midfielder with the options we have in that position.

Agreed, Milner deserves an opportunity in central midfield, he is a box to box type of midfielder who will sprint forward, sprint back all day. Would love to see him given a chance

Hate to say to city "I told you so"....but we did!!!;) This is the reason we need 4 strikers and why Pelle always says we need 2 players for every position....why we broke that golden rule now is crazy.....I know Negredo is injured but seeing as we were selling him this should have told us we needed a replacement......if not having 4 strikers costs us the league this year....its not because of the chelsea's and Arsenals on the world...its because we beat ourseleves by making stupid moves that weakened the team...
