Juventus travel package

'kin ell! me and our kid are just under 5000 points. squeaky bum time me thinks. Does anyone reckon they will release any more tickets if demand is high?

I'd be surprised if it wasn't a sell out mate. Most likely qualification will go down to the wire now and Juve will probably want to go and abuse Balotteli. Plus the stadium only holds 28k so can't see there being many seats left in the home end that they could seel to us?!

-- Fri Nov 05, 2010 2:55 pm --

How many did we take to Poland and are we likely to take more to Italy??????

In Poland their stadium helds 48k I think so more likely we took around 3-4k. Won't be taking more blues but demand will obviously be higher for the less amount of tickets.

How many points were required for Poland?

This is seriously fucked up. Tickets, hotels, trains already booked and sorted for me and the missus. Oh well.

I'm not sure how 'up for it' the Juve fans are though, last 16 first leg against Fulham last season the attendance was 11406. Fulham got extra tickets.

Wow- really surprised at that. Let's hope.

I've just double checked and their european average this season has been 12.5k so hopefully we'll be ok. If not you go to Turin because you've paid for it and see if you can in on the day.

Given tickets are only £25 I might just chance it with another blue getting me the tickets.

Yeah still definitely going because- if we don't get in we'll just have to take over some pub in town.

We have been advised that on the night of the match, the Italian Police and/or Stewards will check that the name on the back of the ticket matches that of the supporter listed on the ticket sales sheet supplied by MCFC to Juventus and photo identification may be requested to validate the name of the respective supporter.

Going off that, it's not definite that they'll be checking tickets against passports.

Surely City can do something about this. I'm buying two tickets one in my name and one for my girlfriend on my sisters seasoncard so why can't City just change the name on the ticket? Is there anyone that I can get in touch with? I've rang the ticket office but they don't know anything.

Because your not supposed to buy tickets and pass them on it's what a lot of people on hear complain about your girlfriend is taking a ticket off someone who deserves one while your sister gets the "loyalty points" and doesn't go

sounds like me email might of been listened too
What was it because I think the passport thing is something the itilians do for security and not a city idea

my mates had to do something similar at valencia with utd too

my email was asking our ticketing system to be looked at. people with high points milk the system to buy points and sell onto those who cant get them.

I just cant see it happening, they always threaten to do this shit for European games.

My mate who is a Rag, went to Moscow a few years ago where this was supposed to happen, on the night nothing was checked.

True, but it happens all the time, you only have to look on here at the number of cases of it happening ie. supporters clubs. Furthermore, the tickets won't sell out, as has been mentioned we've got a pretty small intial allocation but it will be increased, that's what happened with Fulham and there's no reason to assume it won't happen with us. All this will do is mean we won't be able to sit together.

-- Fri Nov 05, 2010 6:34 pm --

Spike mentioned at the start of the thread that Fulham got 800 and that was increased to 3,000.
