Keir Starmer

I have a couple of mates who are “far left” and were extremely pro Corbyn who was frankly unelectable (and those 2 staunch far left wingers, one of them takes private healthcare from work, one sends his son to private school - socialists my arse). Getting rid of these rabid tories will (would) be a huge step
Getting rid of cunts like your mates will be far better.

It’s weird with Labour and understandable why they never really control things. Battered by the left, mullered by the right, fuck all in the middle for you.

They would not be far left and extremely pro Corbyn, that is ridiculous.

Corbyn could only be described as far left if you think Democratic Socialism is a far left creed, which it is not. Democratic Socialism can only be deemed far left if the Overton window has moved that far to the right that Sunak represents the centre ground in UK politics. Which probably rings true with rise of the far right in this country and the effect that populism and nationalist expression has had on the political discourse.

What we have seen in this country is a media driven attempt at American style Macarthyism and the reds under the bed anti Communist nonsense of the Cold War.
I can see Corbyn imagining himself as far left, perhaps leading a revolution in South America.

Certainly his manifestos weren't anything like far, or even hard left, but then he had a pragmatic shadow Chancellor who had more control over policy. There was always that argument that he'd be a centrist in Scandinavia, but he'd almost certainly be well to the left there - he just wouldn't need to moderate his views as much.

It's also easy to drop 'far left' into conversations, when we hear the Tories so often described as far right. You only have to look round Europe to see that's nowhere near being true.

On what evidence?

A Scandi Social Democrat he was not, he was a Democratic Socialist, that though does not mean he was hard left.

TRUTH!

That is a word that no longer resides in the UK political lexicon. The Tories under Johnson made TRUTH a laughable concept and his primogeniture have exacerbated the use of untruth to such an extent lie is now truth and it is unchallenged by any form of media.

Because that very media has gone unchallenged during its years of castigation of Corbyn, a man who I do beli eve is not an anti semite it has neutered the Left and we what see now is the pitiful defending of Israeli war crimes by prominent Labour figures like Lammy, Thornberry and even Starmer himself. Akehurst and his friends of Israel mates will be delighted, it is another nail in the coffin of the left they despise so much.

I am of the Left, some will think i am very far left, compared to those named above i probably am, because i believe in humanity, decency, equality and fairness. The Labour party has lost those values and this dreadful conflict is showing the party heirarchy for what they are truly are.

How can any Labour voter support people who support genocide?

Make sure you vote those trustworthy Tories in at the next election eh, they’ve been a breath of fresh air for the last 13 years and haven’t fucked your country one little bit…

Haha

He might be a power seeking **** who can turn a blind eye to dead kids and turn on everything that got him the leadership but he's not a Tory.

Pmsl state of our main parties in 2023 and their blind biased 'supporters'
