He's trying to appear to be pm material to the public by being strong and impartial also spreading his cheeks to the us foreign policy. My how I wish we had somewhere else to turn that the torys or labour
It’s not though is it? It’s like choosing between someone who has kicked you in the bollocks repeatedly for 12 years and someone you are worried might have the potential to kick you in the bollocks at some point. He must realise that everybody sees through his shit. I cannot believe this is the only other viable option available to us other than the Torys, like choosing between a kick in the bollocks or a punch in the bollocks
Fair enough. Not a great state of affairs either way is it!It’s not though is it? It’s like choosing between someone who has kicked you in the bollocks repeatedly for 12 years and someone you are worried might have the potential to kick you in the bollocks at some point.
He should be ashamed of himself, but he looks a thick skinned tawt. This is the Spursy moment that will lose him a majority.
What he said today was perfectly reasonable but he should have said it 2 weeks ago.
This is going to be a really big problem for Labour the longer it goes on. We all know they're walking this line of trying not to offend anyone, but this is one of the few really big topics where you can't avoid offending some people, and sitting on the fence just means you offend everyone.
So immediately it undermines their main election strategy, but on top of that it's the ghost of Corbyn and accusations of antisemitism rearing it's head again. The one issue that is a complete minefield for Labour.
I bet the tories can't beleive their luck.
They need to recognise that this conflict could go on to the election and sort out their messaging on it. Take a reasonable stance and stick to it.
