Keir Starmer

You forget - he's not allowed to call Johnson a liar. (Has anyone done the factchecking yet on his non-answers?)
It's fucked up really.

Can't call the PM a liar but the home secretary can call the former leader of the opposition a racist in the chamber.

I think he can call him a liar, but Mr Speaker would call his language unparliamentary and ask him to withdraw (apologise), if he refused to withdraw he could then be removed from the HoC for the rest of the day.

I think Blackford of the SNP would gladly take the risk of calling him a **** in parliament.

But what you singularly fail to factor in is the millions of people like myself who voted labour knowing that if there was a 2nd ref I would be voting leave.

Not all labour voters are metropolitan suburban affluent remain voters. Millions are working class leave voters.
I know this is difficult to understand but it's true.

As he is phoning in his contribution if Blackford did call Johnson a liar and decline the speakers request to withdraw his remarks does the speaker have the power to remove him from his spare bedroom for the rest of that day lol?

It's one my dreams to get elected MP for Gorton and then break the consecutive day record for calling the prime minister a **** and being thrown out of parliament. It's probably best for the people of Gorton that never happens.

I've been for a wander in Spain many times, each time I go, I've been stopped
at the airport by the police in booths, and asked to show my passport. This has
happened every time I've gone for Donkey's years, sometimes I get questioned, sometimes
I don't. When I've driven from Spain to France, the same happens.
When I drove to Germany 20 years ago, I was stopped at the border and had the
same experiences.
So I don't think Neil, the nephew, will be all that bothered.

Your experiences of 20 plus years ago are irrelevant. You fucking moron.

Not for two well read, highly intelligent young gadabouts like me and you fella, but seemingly for some it IS.

That was my point, so thank you for reinforcing it so eloquently. The issue of leave v remain has NEVER been a simple left v right issue and likely never will be however much middle class remainers try to make it so.

The leave vote is a broad spectrum, encompassing wildly different political viewpoints, it's what makes it so appealing to so many millions of people. What other issue can Unite Jacob Rees Mogg and Tony Benn?

I believe I was replying to a poster who seemed to think that everyone who voted labour at the GE would have dutifully done as they were told by their middle class masters and voted remain in a 2nd ref.
I was simply pointing out that wasn't the case. The working class has leave and remain voters amongst it's number. It is the most diverse of all the classes on this issue - you won't find many leave voters in a leafy suburb but you will still find many in a depressed housing estate.

It just happens that the working class has millions more leave supporters that the almost exclusively remain middle classes.

It's why leave smashed it in the referendum.

I know that's hard to take for some people but, you know, democracy me old chum.

Sounds like it.

Starmer does a photo call at a craft bar.

Boris used a Wetherspoons.

Shows what Starmer thinks of his core voters and how Cummings will use it against him.
