Keir Starmer

He’s fucked. Didn’t think he was a terrible PM, and somewhat unlucky, but who wants an unlucky PM? And whilst not terrible, he certainly wasn’t great either.

5/10 at best. Not good enough, but no Liz Truss.

Who is a **** btw.
Been constant hate spurred on by the media since day one. I knew it would happen. But Labour haven’t helped themselves either. And hasn’t been worse than any of the previous Tory PMs. But he is toast. How can he carry on after this? Not just a change of leader is needed but also a change of direction to help ordinary people

How the LD get some many votes is beyond me especially with that utter cock in charge. Still waiting on some decency on his part on the PO scandal.
They’re the only real true centrist party and there’s a lot of centrists in the country. They’re also campaign at local level and perform fantastically as local councils and even MP’s. My MP is Lisa Smart and she’s great.

I do agree Davey is a fucking muppet though and have said so on this forum the other day.

Forensic Keith strikes again.

fwiw, hearing him speak I reckon he was a terrible advocate. Not saying he wasn’t an effective barrister, as he manifestly was, but that doesn’t mean he was a decent advocate, even as a criminal silk.

As daft as that might sound to some.

But to pull that off you have to be a brilliant lawyer. Your analysis of the law has to be exceptional. So if my theory is correct, he must be a brilliant lawyer.

Which makes far more sense than him being a fearsome advocate imo (fwiw).

She’s fit though and Starmer isn’t.

In all seriousness he looked like the only adult in the room Re Iran but his overall performance has been poor.

Doesn’t look like he’s willing to relinquish power though, not sure if anything will make him step down.

From 1979 to 2015 (36 years) we had five PMs.

From 2016 to 2026 (10 years) we will have had, if Starmer goes, seven PMs.

That’s the real story.

And I wonder what happened around 2016?

I'm sure he was a good lawyer. He probably should've stuck with it rather than tanking the Labour Party's reputation and allowing reform to gain this much power.

It also wasn't just him; the Labour right has to take some of the blame.

Would make a superb Foreign Secretary.

That’s it!

It's from Feb 2023....

Starmer: If you don't like Labour changes leave

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has said said Labour has changed permanently under his leadership.

He said "if you don't like that, if you don't like the changes that we've made, I say the door is open, and you can leave".

His comments came as the Equalities and Human Rights Commission confirmed they were satisfied with the changes Labour had made to stop unlawful acts of harassment and discrimination since Sir Keir took over.

We all need to take some blame for where we find ourselves. You, me, every other ****. We’ve all fucked up.

He’s made bad decisions but a fringe party was getting in anyway next, the country is absolutely finished and it’s only going to get worse no matter who won in 2024. Labour have made poor decisions with regards to the economy and managed to slow it more so than under Sunak’s government but medium to long term we’re going down anyway.

The UK is currently Burnley under Labour, it was West Ham under Sunak and it’ll be Wolves under Green or Reform. It’s going down anyway but it’s just a choice on how quick that happens.

You said it earlier.

2016. Terrible act of self harm with hindsight, especially so when you look at the absolute state of our political parties and the lack of talent there clearly is in actual statesmanship/leadership to steer us through.

If Starmer does one last thing before he goes it should be to start the process of taking us back in because we simply do not have the stability needed to make life outside any sort of success.

The world is fractured. Trump and Putin have started the rot. Farage if he ever got in would carry it on and the sheer inequalities millions face that lead to votes like today will get far far worse.

Populists exist because of the failures of the mainstream. The main parties need to wake the fuck up and realise that and for once, govern for the vast majority and not the few.

Given everyone we have had as PM recently, and (As it looks) will be having in future, Kier Starmer is what the country needs. Not a fan myself but British politics (Itself) has been just about as calm as can be lately.

I blame Boomers, not that I’m saying you’re one by the way.
They are the main cause imo.

The generation that benefited most from the post-war consensus and closer European ties were the ones that frustrated all the benefits of those things for future generations. The incredible growth in their assets in that time wasn’t enough. Everything was shite because of the EU. Even though they were doing just fine.

And the cunts are still moaning now btw, even though they are still doing fine.

Humans are cunts.

I'll take some, but the majority of the blame lies with the people who say more of the same will fix our problems.

They will find out just how much of the same when Reform gets into power. Punching down whilst milking the country dry.
