Maybe. From what I hear from people who have worked with him he’s a decent bloke but I’ve never met the guy so can only go on what people tell me whose opinions I value.

And they have done a great job of running the country. I was more referring to the spending in there manifesto that they didn’t call a manifesto that they have now binned because they admitted they cannot afford to do anyone of it

It's somewhat desperate that Starmer has brought Gordon Brown back, but whilst I do object to Brown's politics and his incessant tax rises, he at least understood how the system works. I cannot say that of any of the Labour front bench except for Reeves. If she goes in the shake up, brace yourselves for an economic collapse.

There manifest had insane spending and made up cuts in it and they have had to admit it and bin it

She's from Moss Side so she did a lot for that area with the regeneration of that area including the new university campus on Stretford Road called Birley Fields Campus.

No issues with her and she seemed to have her constituency at heart

I don't like him because he's a lying bastard who has helped move the LP to the right. He's messed up lots of times as well.

It isn't his lack of charisma that has made this happen.
 
Another prime minister who won’t resign, and will do and say anything to stay in power, surrounded by his cronie cabinet ministers.

This has played out time and time again with numerous failed prime ministers. I’m sick to the fucking death of it along with everybody else.

And here’s a prime example of that. Her words make me fucking sick.

Labour's party chair is reiterating her support for Starmer as he faces growing calls to resign as prime minister.

In a post on X, Anna Turley says she is "proud" of Starmer, "his record as a Labour PM and his leadership".

"This difficult moment isn’t about giving up, it’s about stepping up," she writes.

Turley, who is the MP for Redcar, adds: "I support him to deliver the ambition he set out this morning to bring hope & opportunity to the country."

Unfortunately, whoever gets the job will get hammered. Unless you bow to the media moguls and their elites, there will never be a minutes rest.

And that’s where Farage fits the bill. He is there to bring the country to heel and ensure you accept your place in their capitalist empire.

There is a lot that can be done, some more important than others. My worry is that the infighting gets so much that nothing gets done to square the country.

This is only leading to a Farage win at the next GE. Personally, I can accept it with minimal impact to myself, but I do worry for those who are already suffering with the cost of living crisis or have certain requirements, as his policies will be straight out of the Trump/MAGA playbook.

I don't disagree with you on that. I fear that Streeting would be quite happy with a privatised NHS as well.

He had the opportunity of a lifetime and decided to carry on with more of the same. He only has himself to blame.
