I'm hearing Starmer had locked himself in his room and refused to come out.
Ange will coax him out with a TUC biscuit and a place in her next cabinet, OK it might only be a few weeks gig but it might just work.

And was a KGB agent.................I'm never sure about Foot. I certainly don't think he was a leader in the Thatcher/Blair mould but he had great personal integrity, was hugely intelligent and articulate, plus he had clear political principles.
It’s embarrassing listening to them shout questions across to them, knowing full well they won’t get a response. They must surely do it to appease their bosses.I wish the press would be fucked off from outside Downing Street.
Who’s the gobby prick shouting at all ministers leaving.
At least they should be given behavioural rules. It’s embarrassing.
Matter of time
which doe not say a lotHow so?
Seems to me to be one of the sane characters, and infinitely preferrable to Rayner or Miliband. Or Burnham for that matter.
If he does go for it, you can bet your life the media will be pushing it as hard as they can as they thrive on controversyIt's already a fuckin mess but how on earth can a **** like Streeting be even considered and now one of the favourites. It would lurch even more to the Right than what it currently is.
I just can't see him getting the votes, can he?
If it just those two I can see Starmer winning! It's already a fuckin mess but how on earth can a **** like Streeting be even considered and now one of the favourites. It would lurch even more to the Right than what it currently is.

Your last sentence is somewhat undermined by your assertion that what your mentor said over half a century ago has ‘proved to be correct’ without providing any basis whatsoever to support it.Oh dear calm down!you need to accept other people are entitled to their views. With regard to Brexit, in the 70’s I was active member of Engineering union - AEW/AEUW. I was taught by some really intelligent Trade Unionists Scanlon being one, that the EC as it was then was a “Capitalist Bloc’ to keep down the working classes, this has proved to be correct. Politicians like Major, Cameron, May, Starmer, Burnham et al are typical examples of the ruling Capitalist elite who have encouraged the exploitation of working people. Oh I forgot Ted Heath who joined the EC without recourse to a referendum or the people of the UK.
Oh by the way that’s proper research.
What a demeaning way to earn a living. Stood in the street shouting questions at some **** who you know won’t answer them. It’s embarrassing listening to them shout questions across to them, knowing full well they won’t get a response. They must surely do it to appease their bosses.

I suppose the FACT there was so much dissatisfaction with the EU there was a referendum & 17.4 million people voted to leave. Added to that I don’t remember being a member of the EU feel like it was a panacea of economic stability & public happiness.Your last sentence is somewhat undermined by your assertion that what your mentor said over half a century ago has ‘proved to be correct’ without providing any basis whatsoever to support it.
