Keir Starmer

Liverpool's long way back from the brink of 1980s turmoil - Liverpool Echo's long way back from the brink of 1980s turmoil - Liverpool Echo
Degsy. That's a blast from the past.

So any Labour BS about this being about the local elections is complete fucking bollocks, Burnham and co have been planning this for months. I really hope Reform fuck him over, the slimey grifter. If Starmer survives for another year he should wield the axe against these disloyal shithouses.

Once Starmer goes which is inevitable, that’s me done with Labour, they had a chance and have chosen slimey reckless opportunism over getting on with the fucking job we voted them in to do.

You'd reduce state pension? Do you realise it's a fucking pittance already?

Really?
Perhaps I should have said something different my point is the pension and specifically the triple lock is unaffordable.

Someone rang in to LBC the other day and pointed out that the current pensioners paid in when average wages where 25k a year so they paid about 1000 of tax a year but are taking out about 12 000 for state pension

You also have to think we have a group of pensioners who don’t need it big private pensions houses worth lots, another group who had good work place schemes final salary / defined benefit don’t exist anymore for my generation and now we might one day hopefully have a group who have been in compulsory work place schemes and have used apps / crypto / forex etc to do well.

Also we will have a group of people who will inherit large estates just as they reach retirement.

Technology assets prices and the state of the economy and demographics mean we need radical overhaul.

Alan Sugar doesn’t need a pension

Are you suggesting it should be means tested?
I heard/read similar the other day. Just can't remember where now.

Seem to recall that slime ball Nick Clegg using the same shtick about Alan Sugar and a bus pass, which Sugar responded he doesn’t have one nor does he collect a state pension.
Just for info.

You really cannot apply those things to every single pensioner in the UK who are mostly struggling to put the heating on.

For those not rich where do you propose they live? Freeze to death on the streets or in a tent?

Do you seriously believe all pensioners are fucking loaded?

There's me thinking it was the battering at the locals, it was more about a £50 note you say? Labour losing Wales for the first time in over a century is a nothing crisis.
Tbh I think it’s hilarious that Wales has gone for Plaid. It’s a big fuck you to all the England centric parties including the Reform bellends and your lot.
