Ooooo! Better hide behind my sofa then. Big bad Kev's on the board.

Give your head a wobble son.
I simply pointed out to him that he was getting slated on here. He has the right of reply surely?
The OSC and the Club can't moniter EVERYTHING- as I am linked heavily to all- I flag things up to relevant people is all. I don't "grass" or shit stir- just point out relevant things here as Bluemoon is the largest and strongest fanbased unofficial forum.
I am not in any way shape or form looking for plaudits but I do have the ear of various parties.

Pah !!!!

Ok, fair play on the right to reply touch, cannot disagree with that in any way, shape or form. It's just the way your posts come across (and therein lies the danger I suppose).

I'd be happy to hear from Mr Parker as to why he thinks he represents the majority of City, let alone his members.

If you've got the ear of the club, any chance you can help a few City fans I know (myself included obviously) and ask the club to try and keep hold of Robi?

That I can't do- not even St Kevin can do that ;-P !!!!! I'm mixed on Robinho tbh- he can be fooking brilliant but he has not been on form this season (that's not the reason why I won't pass it on btw !)

Taking a quote from Prestwich Blue.(hope you don't mind?)

What favours do the club do for the OSC?

(As certain OSC members either get extra Carling Cup tickets or free Carling Cup final tickets and stuff them into their pockets) Not you of course Kevin. (cough!)
I certainly wasn't implying anything underhand like that. I meant things like access to club officials (although they're all much more approachable these days), facilities at the club (the OSC used to have use of the CityCafe before and after matches and now have a room at CoMS) and tickets for supporters club branches (which I don't particularly agree with). Let's be honest, you wouldn't rock the boat publcily if you thought these favours might be put at risk.

I remember my ears pricking up when Kevin said at the "Save our Sven" demo that the club had been very helpful. I knew that Mackintosh & Tyrrell desperately wanted to destabilise Thaksin and this seemed a good way as any of doing it. Not saying there would be anything wrong or underhand in it but it looked better if the idea for that came from the OSC (plus it kept M & T's noses clean).

Let's put a stake in the ground.

there are very few players in the game nowadays who are

1) in it for the club the play for and the fans
2) not in it for the money

This notion of loyalty above ego and all that stuff died over 20 years ago. I would like to see players of the highest quality at the club and when we signed him Robinho fit that bill in spades.

The kid (ego aside) has just come back from a broken ankle. we have seen historically that Brazilians, for whatever reason, seem to struggle to settle in England. Obviously there are exceptions to that rule, but it does seem to be a problem.

Once opposition teams see Robinho in our ranks, he has 2 or 3 players around him as they all know what he is capable of. I agree his work rate could be hugely improved, but just like all quality players, you cannot afford to take your eye off him as when he produces his split second of magic, he can turn games on their head and importantly, in our favour.
