Mr & Mrs Kia Joorabchian, Flat 7, 9 Abbey Road, London, NW8 9AQ
Decision Date: 31 March 2011 WCC Resolution: 14 October 2010
Procedure: Written Representations PINS Reference: A/10/2142734
Decision: Allowed Case Number: 10/05063/FULL
Officer: Alistair Taylor Telephone: 020-7641-2979
Comments: The Inspector granted retrospective permission and conservation area consent as the
demolition and the works have taken place. The Inspector considered that the replacement
front piers are of an appropriate size and built in suitable materials and the sliding gates are
well designed and of good quality. The demolition of the existing boundary wall, piers and
gates has not caused harm, and the replacement scheme has preserved the character and
appearance of the St John’s Wood Conservation Area.
The Council's reason for refusal just related to the front boundary
